Newsletter Format Upgrade
Check the new format that will help you grow, starting today
Introduction
Welcome to another exciting week!
Today I’ve created a whole new format. Instead of short articles sharing tips and my opinion, I’ve formatted it by sections, in such a way, that you get more valuable content in less reading time.
Also, I’ve listened to your comments, and changed the post background color, as yellow was too bright for your eyes.

Take a look at the next ad, do you recognize something?
Lego Ad
Maybe someone?
The feeling of realizing this is actually The Simpsons, is what makes people excited, and leads to people getting intrigued about the latest Lego sets, and more purchases.
Lego went with a simple approach, they don’t need anything too fancy, everyone already knows the brand, just a subtle, yet exciting way to remind their presence, is what made this ad of the best ones.
This ad came in many versions, featuring Asterix and Obelix, South Park, the Smurfs…
Latest Trends and News
The latest update regarding X (former Twitter), video boost over images:
This means Twitter is turning more into a short videos platform, just like all the other social media apps have already done, as short videos drive more engagement and get people to stay on the platform for longer.Narrow targeted social media ads:
This one has been around for a long time. But every day they are becoming more specific. Brands no longer want to go for the big unengaged groups, but rather focus on the niches, where their most customers are. You should treat your account in the same way. Don’t attempt to reach everyone, start small and grow your target as your audience increases.

Weekly Tip
Show genuine interest for your followers.
This should be so obvious, yet I find most people don’t even reply to their followers comments. How on Earth is someone going to get interested in your account if you ignore them.
Building a follower base is all about reciprocity, you can’t expect your followers to get completely invested in your account, if you don’t make it a safe place for them. Sure, once you are already well known and have more comments that you could ever handle, maybe don’t spend as much time replying to them, but you must keep in touch with your audience, in one way or another.
Make them feel appreciated, and they will show appreciation for your content too.
Weekly Challenge
As I’ve already mentioned in the section above, short videos are being boosted in X. That means you need to take advantage of this, here is your challenge:
Post a 1-minute video (at least).
This challenge is meant to help you ease-in into the new social age, if you don’t get used to posting video content, you are going to be left behind. I know it is not comfortable filming yourself or creating an animation video, but seeking that discomfort is the only way you will manage to grow your account. No one said it would be an easy journey.
