If you have a strong network and great influence you are set. Whatever you want to do, if you know the right people, and you are able to "control" large audiences, you'll easily be able to do it.

When you are growing on social media, you are truly just networking, and connecting yourself with a lot of people. Many of whom may be much more successful than you. This means, you can learn from these people, as well as tale advantage of their already strong connections.

It's no wonder why once people get famous they start socializing only with people who are also really famous.

Influence:

Another great value people usually don't take into account, is the value of having a voice, and thus, an influence.

Being an influential individual is one of the biggest assets you can have.

Everyone is searching for influence. If you can influence people, you can make people vote for one thing or another, you are able to make people buy something. All these holds immense value. If you know how yo capitalize on this, you'll soon find yourself fool of riches.

Conclusion:

You should stop trying to grow on social media just for the sake of increasing your revenue. There is so many better things that owning a large social media can bring you.
